WATCH: Walz gives ‘pro tip’ about listening to experts | CBS Vice Presidential Debate
Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz said Tuesday night at the CBS vice presidential debate that former President Donald Trump had a habit of not listening to experts on COVID-19, the economy and other policies.
“Look, if you're going to be president, you don't have all the answers. Donald Trump believes he does,” Walz said. “My pro tip of the day is this: If you need heart surgery, listen to the people at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, not Donald Trump.”
With just more than a month to go before Election Day Ohio Sen. JD Vance and Walz met for their first and only vice presidential debate on Oct. 1, hosted by CBS in New York.
