Join us, Carol & Ken, as we travel to Scotland in our Consort Nova Motorhome called Snoopy.
In this episode we wake up in our stealth camping spot in Girvan, South Ayrshire. From here, it is only a short drive up the coast to Culzean Castle, a National Trust for Scotland property that has long been on our to-do list.
After looking around the castle, the former home of the Marquess of Ailsa, the chief of Clan Kennedy, we make our way down to the Swan Pond for a well-earned ice cream.
Our search for fresh water had not been successful so we book into a small campsite at Auchenwynd for a couple of nights to replenish. Ken experiences his first game of Rummikub and we cook up some comforting food.
