This the first video in a new series, where I get my bookish friends to send me mystery book recommendations that I will immediately buy, read, and vlog about (all in one video). They can force me to read anything they want: one of their favourites, a bad book that will make me squirm, a classic, some poetry, whatever they want. It doesnt have to be a book they think Ill like, it only has to be a book they want me to read.
On todays inaugural episode: Will Heath of BooksAndBao.com! Will writes and vlogs about translated literature, examining how authors use the art of storytelling to reflect the world and the culture around them.
Hes great. Books and Bao is great. And so was his book recommendation.
