Originally i was doing something else for Desucon, but then i realized that i wasn't going to get it finished in time. So what did i do? I started a new action based project that i just wanted to do :D I don't think it's gonna get into the competition (spoiler, it didn't XD), it's not my best work but i like the flow on it, so i decide to sent it out :D I also wanted to show this new anime to everyone! It's so pretty!

When i first heard this song on the trailer of Heartstopper, i fell in love whit it. ♥ Then i started having pictures of Alex and Steph in my mind and i wanted to edit something of them. I also wanted to do cosplay of Alex, so i decide to edit this video to Tracon and cosplay Alex at the event too.
I personally think this is one of my best videos. I just love how the story came together here and how i was able to put my thoughts on the timeline. This doesnt happen often, believe me!

The story:
Alex doesnt see colors, only black and white. When se first sees colors, its whit Steph when she is angry. Alex gets scared by that and the way she can also feel Stephs anger and how it overcomes her. But she is also curious about the colors and starts hanging out with Steph more. And one time she reaches to touch Stephs blue aura and the colors rush over her. She is happy and wants Stephs to feel happy too, but when the sadness is gone, so are the colors from Alex.
Overtime she starts to have feelings for Steph and Steph also tells her about her own feelings. Steph is scared to get rejected, so Alex decides to show her that everything is okay by kissing her. On that moment happines overcomes them both and Alex is able to see colors. Because she has finally found a person who she can share to beauty of the world with. A soulmate ♥

Tbh I dont think this is anywhere near the things I can do. After I finished my main video for the competition, I had an idea for this and did it fast on the deadline day. I was honestly surprised that this went to finals. But even tho I dont like it that much, I got to meet Carolina Ravassa because of this video 💜 so I think it was worth it.

Fun fact, i started to think about this video at summer, before the prequel was even released :D I had only one teaser picture of the game, which had Chloe and Rachel with fire in it. One day i was just scrolling down some nostalgic music from my childhood and Watercolour just came up. Suddenly i had pictures from Life is Strange in my mind and i was like This song could be perfect for LiS! Maybe i could do Max flip the time backwards, so i could include BtS to this too?.
And thats how i started to make this video :D When i was playing Before the Storm, i was hoping to see more fire and i was super happy when there was fire at first episode :D

Minut kutsuttiin kilpailemaan Traconin järjestämässä Päälliköiden Ottelussa. Kilpailuun kutsuttiin kuusi editoijaa, jotka ovat menestyneet hyvin viime vuosina Suomen kilpailuissa. Olin todella otettu ja hämmentynyt kutsusta, sillä en osannut arvata että olisin ollut tosiaan sillä tasolla. Pistin kuitenkin heti parastani, jotta tämä video olisi sillä tasolla.
Halusin tässä videossa haastaa itseäni. Halusin esitellä tietenkin ne osat missä olen hyvä (musiikin editointi ja ääniefektien käyttö) mutta halusin myös haastaa itseäni niiltä osin missä koen olevani huono (tarinan kerronta). Kyllä, olen voittanut palkintoja tarinankerronnastani, mutta se ei tarkoita että olisin siinä hyvä. Joten valitsin siksi haastavan kappaleen ja elokuvan, jotta voisin haastaa itseäni tältä osin oikein kunnolla. Ja omasta mielestäni onnistuinkin tässä todella hyvin! Tarina on selkeä ja videota ei tarvitse katsoa montaa kertaa läpi jotta sen ymmärtäisi.
