NASA astronauts Reid Wiseman, Victor Glover, Christina Koch, along with Canadian Space Agency (CSA) astronaut Jeremy Hansen are returning to Florida ahead of their planned launch towards the Moon.
NASA aims to launch its Space Launch System rocket and Orion spacecraft from Launch Complex 39B at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida no earlier than Wednesday, April 1, at 6:24 p.m. EDT (2224 UTC).
The four Artemis 2 astronauts will take the Orion spacecraft, "Integrity," out for a 10-day test flight around the Moon and back to validate a suite of systems. This is the first crewed mission of an Orion vehicle.
Live commentary with Spaceflight Now Reporter Will Robinson-Smith will begin about 10 minutes before the crew is anticipated to touch down at the Launch and Landing Facility at the Kennedy Space Center. The crew will take questions from the media upon arrival and following a greeting from NASA leadership, including Administrator Jared Isaacman and CSA President Lisa Campbell.
