Iran hits back within hours with missile attack after CENTCOM strike near Strait of Hormuz. Iranian media on Sept 02 released a video showed missiles being fired toward Jordan. This development comes after Tehran carried out attacks against U.S. interests & bases in the region in retaliation for U.S. strikes. Alarm sirens were activated in Jordan's Mafraq and Aqaba governorates, as per Reuters citing Jordan state television. Two U.S. officials told Reuters that no U.S. casualties had been reported so far from an Iranian attack on facilities in Jordan. The developments came after the United States launched new air strikes on Iranian targets on Seopt 01, raising concerns of renewed escalation in the regional conflict.
