HELENE’S REMNANTS REMAIN NEARBY THIS WEEKEND SUNDAY-MONDAY Scattered showers move into North Carolina as remnants of Helene stall nearby. Periods of rain and clouds will be with us in the morning and continued through Monday. Isolated storms are also possible. Highs will be warm in the upper 70s in the Piedmont Triad and Foothills region. Rainfall totals are expected to remain under one half inch east of the mountains, but isolated storms may bring 1-2” rainfall totals from the Blue Ridge Parkway to Burlington.
