Debra Jo Rupp stars as Della in the incredibly timely new play The Cake, from This Is Us' Bekah Brunstetter, at Barrington Stage Company June 21 to July 15. In the play, she stars as a religious cake creator who is asked to bake a wedding cake for a lesbian couple in the world premiere production of The Cake. In the video, Debra Jo performs a monologue from the comedic and touching new play.
