Wat Chedi Jet Thaew is the main temple compound at Si Satchanalai Historical City. Si Satchanalai was the 'twin sister' of Sukhothai and has as much to offer, though much less tourists visit the sites. Likely because it is a bit out of the way. Lots of stupas (chedis) at this wat. The most striking attraction is a sitting Buddha Image, sitting on the coils of a serpent (Naga) and covered by its nine heads.
