A playthrough of Wasteland Bites, where it's the apocalypse and you need to pay your way for a pleasant beach vacation by managing a food truck with the usual concerns of mutants, clowns, and ghost that want you dead.

I enjoyed the demo and meant to get to this one sooner. The full game adds some more threats (with an eventual custom night in the works) to be fleshed out more in specific areas. Plus each area starts with an easy level and ramping things up before rinsing and repeating. You can replay maps which make them slightly harder (capping out at "+++") though the difficulty between night and day is the main challenge (since mimics seem to be only at night, or if I overlooked one during the day they're extremely rare). Money earned is needed for gas to move to the next area (the game allows you to go back to your previous spot for free if you get in over your head) but can also be used for a number of upgrades. Some of these seem much more needed than others, as the tip jar notably increases earnings to get additional upgrades (not to mention the stress reduction ones help for mistakes and later maps).

I opted to play each map twice to show not only the day/night difference but also as there's an achievement to complete each level twice. Some maps can be pretty evil (looking at you, Circus with that damn thieving clown) while some can be a bit of a joke like Jacobstown being super easy by the time you reach it.

The ending is the same whether you transmit the data at Paradise or not. Unfortunately, there is a mutually exclusive achievement for either choice so your only way to 100% the game is either back up your save file before playing Paradise or to replay the entire game from scratch.

Overall if you like the FNAF sort of game of managing multiple threats this is an enjoyable game. I didn't play nightmare mode much but it didn't seem to have a notable increase in difficulty though it does let you achievement hunt with your file.
