Wasteland 3: The Battle of Steeltown ist die erste Erweiterung des hoch gelobten Wasteland 3 von inXile entertainment.
Der gewaltige Fabrikkomplex von Steeltown stellt die gesamte Technik her, die Colorado am Laufen und den Patriarchen an der Macht hält: Lastwagen, Panzerung, Waffen und Roboter. Aber die Lieferungen aus Steeltown sind ins Stocken geraten, und alles, was der Patriarch von Abigail Markham, dem Oberhaupt von Steeltown, erhält, sind Ausreden. Als er die Ranger schickt, um die Lage zu untersuchen, stellt sich heraus, dass der Ort einem Pulverfass ähnelt, dessen Lunte bereits brennt. Die Arbeiter streiken, Banditen plündern ungestraft, und niemand darf durch die Tore, nicht einmal im Auftrag des Patriarchen. Ohne Hilfe könnte Steeltown in Flammen aufgehen und Markham mit sich reißen – aber vielleicht ist es genau das, was es braucht. Das werden die Ranger selbst entscheiden müssen.
