Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies are very wasteful of power, slow to produce and transactions are also slow. While Bitcoin is often praised as the Next Big Thing in payments technology, the fact is that most Bitcoin payments in 2021 were for illegal drugs, arms deals, paying off ransomware attacks or other criminal activity.
