By attaching sensors to trash bins, Waste2Go’s cloud-native platform, which runs on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, monitors the volume of waste at target collection points. After instructing Oracle Functions to send the encrypted data to a Docker container, Python code decrypts that data, stores it in the backend system, and presents it in a dashboard so users can determine the best time and route to collect the trash.
