Back in 2012 I attended Waste Expo and caught wind of this new concept Curotto Can being demo'd in Moreno Valley. Fast forward 3 years and I see this Heil in the yard with a Curotto and didnt think much of it, other than it being odd for Socal to have a new Heil. Never once did the idea of this being the demo unit cross my mind, and then Wmmaster626 and WesternWasteManagement took a trip out my way to film it and it hit me. Couldn't believe I'd never put the puzzle together myself haha
So a thanks to those two for route info. Easily my favorite truck in my yard. Very easy on the eye, with a bit of an oldschool feel to it. The non-cng tailgate is a plus as I like the slim version much more. Operated by an expert (although not the driver filmed by the others) and all around a fun day filming this. I will likely return for more at some point in the future too.
