It was a goal for me to film Waste Management of Woodland/West Sac. some time in the summer or early part of school and when I heard that California Refuse Trucks NEVER filmed a WM ASL I immediately knew what we were going to do the second part after filming some DWR. We looked around Monday route with no luck until we headed to part two and almost instantly we found this Amrep sadly finishing a tightly packed townhouse development. We where about get out of the car to talk to the driver when he just stopped. About 30 seconds passed and nothing so Colby and I got out to investigate. It was a stalled car in the middle of a road and the truck could not pass but instead of the driver honking and backing up after we moved he got out and helped the lady out. while we also helped out pushing the car out the way we asked about his route and if he was done he immediately told us no and he had a good 500-600 homes. We asked of we can fallow him said yes. He asked if we could quickly jump start the car and we did and he said he would even wait for us to do that and then go on his way to his second route. I think it was VERY cool of the driver helping about someone in need of assistance. He was a great driver and said we should even see he the people at the landfill would let us film the truck unload. Sadly we had to decline as we where on a time budget and they could turn us down and we would have wasted 50+ mins. driving around. Also he was very cool on what we where doing and thought it was great. I REALLY want to me him again and talk so till then enjoy the video I got.
