This was shot the other day with the temp @ just over 100 degrees. The nest is built inside the steel cap of a welding tank so it was very hot inside. Watch the wasps that fly into the nest carry a little drop of water in their mouths. Also notice the wasps outside fanning the nest.

You can also see the wasps in flight look in a new direction as they fly. the body follows the movement of the head. Just another little cool thing. This was shot with a Miro 4 @ 4700 FPS and speed up in the play back. The lightning the other day was a bit disappointing. I hope for more this week.
