Keith Ranville drives around Wasagamack Anisininew Nation with an open bag of dog food in his front seat, scooping it out to feed the dogs he sees along his route. He started feeding the dogs in his community 4 years ago after hearing of a mauling in a northern First Nation and wanting to prevent something similar. The Winnipeg Humane Society sends the kibble to Garden Hill First Nation, then helicopters bring it to the fly-in community for Ranville to distribute.
