Actually, yes. It was. And I stand by my decision. Because in PMD explosions deal 40 damage to enemies but exactly half the the current HP to any member of the player's party, including the player. So Self Destruct isn't actually self destructive!
(though I do wish I got exp from it)

Every day I am going to be attempting a run of the randomized Destiny Tower! It will very likely not last more than a few floors most days, Destiny Tower is already hard and adding a randomizer to it, with Monster Houses and weather effects and everything, is bound to make it even harder. But, I am determined to eventually beat this~
