Was Resident Evil 1 Scary?
At 48 years old, I decided to go back to where it all started — Resident Evil 1.
I was 19 years old when this game first came out, and I can honestly say I still remember that moment like it was yesterday. In today’s video, I share a very personal, firsthand look at what it felt like to experience Resident Evil for the very first time — and what it feels like now, all these years later.
This is my honest, emotional retrospective of the first 30 minutes of gameplay. I talk about what made Resident Evil 1 so special when it released, why it changed gaming for me, and why I still believe it’s the best entry in the entire series.
