In 1995, Dokken returned with Dysfunctional — an album that surprised a lot of fans and critics. Coming out during the height of the ‘90s alternative rock era, the record sounded very different from the classic Dokken sound that made albums like Tooth and Nail and Back for the Attack so popular.

But how does Dysfunctional hold up today?

In this video we revisit Dokken’s 1995 album Dysfunctional, talk about our history with the band, and discuss whether the record was truly a disaster… or just misunderstood.
