A modern controversy says that Ada Lovelace couldn't have been the first computer programmer because she didn't have the math skills. This is likely wrong, and even if Babbage published the first examples of code first, it's clear that Lovelace was a more competent programmer and had a better understanding of what the Analytical Engine could be.
I found the book "The Thrilling Adventures of Ada Lovelace and Charles Babbage" despite it being a graphic novel to be a well-researched, referenced and invaluable guide for this video.
