Welcome to the official launch of Warriors on the Rise, Wayne State University’s early assurance program in partnership with Detroit Public Schools Community District. Warriors on the Rise aims to help students build confidence, develop college-ready skills and picture their path to higher education at Wayne State and beyond.
Recorded on March 7, 2026, this event marks the start of an exciting journey for DPSCD high school students as they explore college life, academic and career paths, campus experiences, and the numerous opportunities available through Wayne State.
In this recording, students and families will learn more about the Warriors on the Rise program and its benefits; meet Wayne State faculty, staff, and peer mentors; hear from current students about their college experiences; and explore academic, financial, and campus life resources. The event also shows how students can begin engaging in future program opportunities.
