a short PMV for some warriors OCs who are near and dear to my heart
a brief explanation to help follow what's going on

Quailflight, the deputy of RyeClan (gray and white) and Branchwhisper (brown tabby) are flirtin' it up despite the fact that Quailflight has a mate, Cherrystem. (Remember when that was common in Warriors? It's scandalous here). They're both falling hard and having a good time until one day Branchwhisper is found sprawled in the branches of a tree, murdered by an unknown perpetrator. All signs point to a rival clan - BogClan - and Quailflight lashes out at a gathering, blindly accusing the entire Clan of murdering his clanmates and potential mate. Humiliated by his deputy's actions, Flintstar, RyeClan's leader, demotes the frantic warrior from deputy position and hands the title over to a lousy and lazy warrior named Fogwhisker because of what seems to be a prophecy from StarClan - "Fog may seem to shroud the way of the truth- embrace it- the path will clear in due time; then all will be known.". Quailflight can't stand the embarrassment and living in RyeClan as a constant reminder of what had happened. He sneaks away overnight and out into the forest, unbeknownst to his Clanmates.
A strange she-cat speaks to him in his dreams. Whispers words of encouragement. Hopefulness. He can make up for it - he can be a savior.
