This build started out as just another freeform model, but quickly evolved into something more meaningful. Many inspirations came together in this MOC. For example, the lance-pierced warrior is a throwback to one of my favorite cinematic video game trailers (note: I don't play video games), "For Honor", which also inspired a short story I wrote a few years ago.
The modern warrior leaving her footsteps on the ancient battlefield is a token of my passion for post apocalyptic SciFi; the footsteps in the snow are something I've been wanting to do ever since I saw that one massive Hoth diorama from what ten years back..? The footsteps are recessed by half the thickness of a brickplate, using a technique involving 1x1 bricks with a recessed stud on one side, which I first used on my MOC "Riverbed".
The angled and leaning pillar is made using a technique that I first used on my Battlefront Tatooine MOC and several MOCs after that.
The two dead warriors should not be mistaken for mandalorians (though I don't really mind if you do), the helmets just fit the scene and style very well, that's why I used them. The female warrior is all custom parts from FireStarToys, except for the legs. The sword on her back is a custom piece I made myself using a Ventress lightsaber hilt and an altered katana and it's had its appearances in several of my MOCs.
Overall, I am very happy with how this build came out and I hope you enjoy the video just as much as I enjoyed putting this MOC together!
