In 1995, Ultraphobic shocked a lot of Warrant fans. Gone were the glossy party anthems and MTV-era hair metal image that made the band famous. In their place was a darker, heavier, more introspective sound influenced by the grunge movement that had completely changed rock music in the early ’90s.
In this video, we take a deep dive into one of the most misunderstood albums in Warrant’s catalog and discuss what it was like hearing Ultraphobic for the first time when it was released.
