Streets of Rage 2 is a side-scrolling beat 'em up released for the Sega Genesis in 1992. It's the sequel to Streets of Rage and is widely considered one of the greatest beat 'em ups of all time. The game follows Axel Stone and Blaze Fielding, returning from the first game, along with new characters Max Thunder (a pro wrestler) and Eddie "Skate" Hunter (younger brother of Adam from the first game). The story revolves around the crime syndicate leader, Mr. X, kidnapping Adam, forcing the remaining heroes to fight their way through the streets to rescue him.
