Recently, I visited Salt Mango Tree restaurant in Indiranagar, Bangalore, to try out their Onam sadhya. The restaurant is well-regarded for its Kerala cuisine, especially when offering its special onam sadhya. I had high hopes for it, but I found its mini Onam sadhya thaali a bit underwhelming. While the service was good, I felt the authentic flavours of Kerala were missing. Even the number of items was fewer compared to previous sadhyas I have had in Kerala, Bangalore, and even Delhi.
