Some 'warnings from history' were provided in episodes 38 & 39 of our TV show (links provided below) when we talked about the Islamization of Iran in the late 1970s, however, it's important to know that it was actually a re-Islamization, because the original, 'Arab conquest of Iran (Persia)' took place in the 600s. So a more accurate, but simple, historical timeline would be:
1) Islamization in the 600s
2) Secularization
3) Re-Islamization in the late 1970s
