Space Marine 2s Xbox 360-style simplicity is a sweet relief from modern AAA's obsession with overstuffed open worlds. As a Warhammer 40K experience, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 is excellent at many things. As a video game, though, Space Marine 2 has less to boast about. In fact, it is only truly accomplished at one thing: combat.
