I've actually been working on this one for a little over 3 month's time.
The reason why I was constantly setting it aside is because the "soon to be" mother of my child was visiting me in a different state. Thus, I wanted to do a special video for her daughter. I initially started a project that was inevitably going to take too long to complete. Finally I decided to just go back to my roots and do a classic anime styled speedpaint in tribute to Alice; youtube.com/watch?v=lSlmMfvn4cE&t=11s
All throughout those last 2 videos being worked on, I would casually work on this one. As with every Exitium character I do, there is also something to be said about their lore & the topics of focus here are no different. The first thing you'll see speedpainted is the mega city known as "Kova-Taki." Kova-Taki is one of tHrae's very first settlements once colonization had begun. Because of this, Kova Taki is also grief stricken with crime syndicates and famine. Its the planet's epicenter for all drug trafficking & illegal activities. While certain establishments stuck around in an effort to confront the dilemma, most other forms of government relocated to avoid KovaTaki's over population problem coupled with its violent and savage population. Starcom is one form of government which seeks control over this lost city. Kova-Taki can be closely compared to a high tech futuristic city the likes of which you would find in a "Judge Dredd" story or Bat-Man's "Gotham." This is where many key players in the Exitium saga grew up.
Speaking of characters who grew up here; Enter Agatha Omine. Agatha grew up in an apartment being shared by all of her Earth Russian relatives. She was frequently abused and neglected through much of her childhood. This prompted her to enlist as a soldier in the Starcom war efforts. As she ascended ranks 2 things were becoming increasingly obvious about her. One was that she had a knack for greatness surpassing the expectations of her superiors and propelling her into Spec Ops domain. The second was her very irritable personality. Agatha Omine has anger management issues that seem to be caused by her past but miraculously never get in the way of her objectives. She has a sense of controlled chaos and always sticks to a strict routine of training. She hardly ever takes time to herself, preferring to hit the gym whenever possible or deal with matters that other operatives aren't willing to do. Agatha Omine is Starcom's powerhouse covert agent and plays an essential role in the Exitium Saga.
Our next character is of opposite origin. Zane Tyler aka The Interfector was born into wealth. His family was able to bypass the earliest and darkest times of tHrae. After becoming bored with the life of luxury, Zane Tyler set out to find old teachings of the Martial Arts. He then came across a monastery full of monks who lived by strict standards. There place of residence was remote and nearly completely void of technology. Zane spent 12 years here fitting in with the monks and aligning himself with their cause. It was only after he met a woman he fell in love with. The same woman who expressed very little concern for his fate, that he eventually returned to Kova-Taki to become an experienced assassin for Starcom. Zane Tyler would go on to be paired with Agatha Omine so he could learn weapon mastery quickly and efficiently. While some may say due to his lack of experience that he doesn't deserve his rank as an independent operative of Starcom, The Interfector has always produced the desired results of his superiors. He among a handful of others are all gifted enough to pilot extremely experimental suits. Interfector's suit exclusively has a small warp drive installed which gives him limited teleportation capabilities. The Interfector is the future of assassins..
