Reasons for frame choice are listed in the video.

Reasons for weapon/equipment choices:

Primary:
Amprex: Recent crit chance, range and overall dps nerf
Tonkor: Self Damage Nerf
Synapse: Crit chance nerf
Arca Plasmor: No bonus headshot damage nerf
Synoid Simulor: Massive AoE and instant dps nerfs

Secondary:
Sonicor: Removed the ability to send enemies flying (sometime after Dmg 2.5 was announced)
Acrid: One of the strongest weapons in Damage 1.0, became really bad in 2.0
Synoid Gammacor: Ammo efficiency nerf (a long time ago)

Melee:
Telos Boltace: Old energy wave spin2win changed to current Stormpath passive (which has cooldown and isn't very useful)
Secura Lecta: Credit Bonus nerfed to scale off MR, and massively nerfed from an average of 11.6x to a 4x cap

Adarza Kavat: The recent Cat's Eye nerf that no longer allows its crit buff to be given to Operators
