Meet Maj. Christa Harrop, one of the U.S. Naval War College's U.S. Army students in the College of Naval Command and Staff. Maj. Harrop gives us an inside look into her time studying foreign policy and shares why her experience at the U.S. Naval War College makes her a better warfighter.

Our naval education institutions are the primary way that we develop our warfighters’ intellectual edge to achieve warfighting advantage. The Department of the Navy is taking an integrated, enterprise-wide approach to improving naval education and prioritizing programs that are critical for a competitive warfighting advantage. As the Navy’s “home of thought,” NWC is at the tip of that spear in educating tomorrow’s leaders and informing today’s decision makers.
