Meet Cmdr. Sean Mahoney, one of the U.S. Naval War College's military professors for the National Security Affairs Department. Professor Mahoney gives us an inside look into his classroom and what he's teaching to enhance the warfighting readiness of our students.

Our naval education institutions are the primary way that we develop our warfighters’ intellectual edge to achieve warfighting advantage. The Department of the Navy is taking an integrated, enterprise-wide approach to improving naval education and prioritizing programs that are critical for a competitive warfighting advantage. As the Navy’s “home of thought,” NWC is at the tip of that spear in educating tomorrow’s leaders and informing today’s decision makers.
