Framestore’s Melbourne and Mumbai teams brought the formidable War Machine to life for Netflix’s sci-fi action thriller, War Machine.
Led by VFX Supervisor Joao Sita, the teams developed an animalistic digital creature, complete with fluid, predatory movement, battle-worn textures and an atmospheric scanning system. Across 252 shots, the work spans intense chase sequences, expansive battlefield environments and explosive FX, culminating in a high-stakes quarry showdown.
