War Horse has always been one of my favourite films since it came out in 2011, as I was nine or ten.
Ten years later, I still cry and bawl every time I watch this film.

I literally cried like a baby as I was rewatching it last week. My mom came into my room while I was watching Topthorn’s death scene.
She wanted to tell me something but she asked if I was crying because of that film instead.
So I shook my head and then burst into tears right after lol.
I remember I also teared up when I saw Kythereia’s vid about animals, especially on THAT scene she picked from War Horse. You should watch it if you haven't.

This is not just an equestrian movie to me, though it speaks to you much more when you’re one, and I really believe any person could get emotional while watching it.
I own a horse myself, and maybe the film gets me very emotional because it feels so raw and so true. She’s the best thing that ever happened to me, just like Joey is Albert’s.

I’m sure that I would feel as devastated as Albert if I were to loose my horse. And I know this day will come at some point. I’d rather not think about that day.

We become so profoundly attached to our animals, with time.
We create a bond with them, as well as habits and memories. It really shows what wonderful, sensitive, and smart creatures horses can be. Whatever you’re feeling, they feel it. Whatever you do will impact them.

I’m gonna be honest and I don’t even care what you think, but I literally had tears in my eyes while editing this. It may sound stupid, but yeah.

Not to mention that two of my celebrities crushes are in this film. My two favourite British men. You may have guessed it, I was talking about Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hiddleston. I know their screen time is so little, but I don’t care, they still did great and it’s such a treat for my eyes to see them.
