This product wasn't high enough ranking to make it on to my blog (http://openboxreviews.com) but I still wanted to upload this video in case anyone was wondering about this product. I'm also posting my full written review here in case anyone is interested.

My cat is my 4th cat ever and I spoil her a lot, mostly because I miss my 3rd cat and she is receiving all the benefits of that so when I saw this automatic cat toy I thought, "she has to have that".

My cat's name is Helvetica and you will see her playing with this in my video review. Now, I should be fair and say that despite the fact that Helvi is fixed she currently thinks she's in heat so her interests lie elsewhere other than toys. I did however put some catnip down (that's what you see on the floor in the video it's not that I'm a messy housekeeper) and she played with this for a bit as did my puppy. I also should add that my kids already lost a part of this (the extension rod) and that is why it is not included in my video review.

So here are my issues with this and the things that I like.

Pros:
The toys that come with this are well made and it has a remote that also has a laser pen on it, this is genius. This is easy to control and there are multiple ways to configure it to keep your cat interested.

Cons:

All the extra pieces are great but also easy to lose especially if you have other pets and/or children (I have both).

The remote is handy but there is no on/off button on it, this would be super helpful. If I'm sitting on my couch knitting and I want my cat to play with the toy I have to get up and push the button to turn it on. Alternately if I don't want to hear it running I can't turn it off with the remote, however it will eventually turn off on its own.

When your cat "catches" at toy you will hear the toy stutter when it can't move and it isn't a good sound. Also, when it is spinning around it will hit your cat in the head which is kind of funny but not really nice.

If you have a home with a kitten and no other pets or kids you will probably really like this toy. If you do have kids or other pets I bet you will have a lot of the same issues with this that I do. That being said my cat has played with it a little and my puppy has taken a liking to it but mostly to chew up the included toys. :-)
