I made this on vacation, this is my main Sona
after I upload everything I made while I was away I may go a little inactive for a few reasons
but the main right now being that my fish isn't doing great.
I left a buffet block while I was gone, someone was supposed to check up on him halfway through the week but never did. I don't think he ate the block, it just dissolved into his water. I performed a water change, I added salt, Betta fix, raised the temperature and fed him but he's still not doing great. it could partly be because he's older, it was easier to recover when he was younger, he's not as strong anymore. but I'm really trying to get him happy again, he's been laying around all day, only moving to find more comfortable positions. he has only come up to the surface twice, once today and once yesterday, to eat, which seems to take a lot of energy out of him. I have to dangle blood worms in his face and then he gets the hint that it's feeding time, and will come to the surface and eat like he normally would albeit with some struggle to swim.
I love him to death istg. I'm doing everything I can go get him back on his feet but I don't know if it's helping.
sorry for ranting, it's just been a roller coaster with this fish all week, thinking he's improving then he's not, I'm probably going to be at my dad's for the weekend so I'm worried my mom won't be able to get him to eat. 😩😩 this fish will be the death of me but I love him sm
