My entry for Constellion’s Monthly Prompt! I didn’t think I was going to finish this in time as I start college tomorrow but I am so happy that I did and managed to shade it!

You’d think that someone who was gifted with magic could do good. Unfortunately that is not what has been happening to me. I have had the shittiest luck, I can’t seem to do anything right even with good intentions. Am I destined to be a villain. That’s what it feels like. When I was younger I used to have hope, a spark in my eyes. I would greet every day with a smile and look at the bright blue sky. Now it seems so dark, as if I’ve dug myself a hole to lay in. I seem to only come out at night, I try to help any officers capture criminals but all that seems to happen is that I get in the way. I’ve applied for jobs but no one wants to hire me. I did have one person say to me “You’ll get there one day kid, y’know all you gotta do it shoot for the moon and if you miss you’ll land among the stars.” I try to live by that moral, that saying but any time I fly high above the clouds the sky is black, littered with clouds of doubt and not a single star in sight.
