Learn how to make traditional Berber bread with Kasbah Tamadot
Kasbah Tamadot is nestled in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains and is steeped in traditions from the local Berber community. Led by Kasbah Tamadot’s Head Chef, kids will be able to get their hands messy as they are taught how to make and cook traditional Berber Bread.
What you will need:
Ingredients (for 8 people):
200g of white flour
200g of durum wheat flour
12g of baker's yeast
200cl of water
16g of salt
Semolina for baking and dusting
Utensils:
Mixing bowl
Gas or electric hob (adult supervision required)
Heavy-bottomed pan or a non-stick pan
Baking sheet and baking paper to cover
Stainless steel pan
Small cloth/tea towel or paper towels for covering the bread
Hand mixer
Spatula
