Ok, anyways.
This piece represents the “dark, high tides” or a state of despair. It represents the stress and grief of a man who feels alone and scarred from the countless times he has been hurt before.

That is, until she came. Someone who would change his life for the better.

At first, it just seemed like any other interaction with a friend, but then they talked more and more, as the grief had slowly washed away. It was like she was filling the emptiness in him that was once ripped out.
The stormy waves finally calmed down to a gentle breeze.
