Colossus Shop at Thorpe Park ia located at the exit of the iconic Colossus roller coaster in the Lost City area. This shop is your go-to spot for all things Colossus, with a selection of branded merchandise including t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, magnets, and keyrings, all themed to the legendary Colossus ride. You can also find snacks, drinks, and ice creams to refuel after your ride, and view or purchase your on-ride photo moments captured during your Colossus Coaster experience. Annual Pass holders receive discounts on purchases by presenting their pass at the till.
Colossus opened in 2002 and became the world’s first roller coaster with 10 inversions, marking Thorpe Park’s shift into a destination for extreme thrill seekers. Manufactured by Intamin and designed by Werner Stengel with input from John Wardley, the ride features a compact 850m layout packed with a vertical loop, airtime hill, cobra roll, two corkscrews, and five heartline rolls—the last one rotating in the opposite direction for added disorientation. At 98 feet tall, Colossus delivers powerful forces in quick succession, especially in the front row, where the view and intensity are at their peak. Though The Smiler at Alton Towers later surpassed it with 14 inversions, Colossus remains an important milestone in roller coaster history.
The Colossus roller coaster is located in the Lost City, a themed area around ancient ruins and mythical civilisations. Colossus stands among dramatic stone structures, cracked relics, and overgrown pathways, suggesting the ride emerges from the remnants of a forgotten Atlantean world. The music that surrounds the Colossus ride and shop, composed by Ian Habgood, adds to the mysterious and adventurous tone of the area.
Thorpe Park, situated in Surrey and operated by Merlin Entertainments, has been thrilling visitors since 1979 with its world-class coasters, water rides, and seasonal events. The 2024 season saw the launch of Hyperia, the UKs tallest and fastest coaster, in the Fearless Valley area, and plans to redevelop Amity Beach in 2026 into a new plaza area called The Launchpad with stage and food kiosks. Fright Nights will also return later in the year, delivering terrifying mazes, live entertainment, and themed attractions.

[4K] Hey Duggees Big Adventure Badge at Alton Towers, join us for a full tour of the colourful Hey Duggee themed play area in CBeebies Land, featuring Duggees Clubhouse, climbing frames, slides, interactive play equipment and one of the largest outdoor play areas at Alton Towers Resort.
Hey Duggees Big Adventure Badge opened in CBeebies Land at Alton Towers in March 2022, replacing Tree Fu Tom Training Camp. Inspired by the award-winning BBC CBeebies series, the attraction allows young adventurers to climb, slide, explore and play throughout Duggees colourful world, with themed play structures, rope bridges, tunnels, trampolines and dedicated areas designed for a range of ages.
The attraction is themed around Duggees Clubhouse and the adventures of the Squirrels, Betty, Happy, Norrie, Roly and Tag. Throughout the day, guests can also meet Hey Duggee during selected meet and greet appearances, making it one of the most popular character locations in CBeebies Land alongside the wide range of Hey Duggee merchandise available in Little Explorers Toy Box.
Hey Duggee first premiered on BBC CBeebies in 2014 and was created by Grant Orchard for Studio AKA. The series has become one of the channels most successful programmes, winning multiple BAFTA Awards while entertaining audiences with its humour, memorable characters and adventure-filled badge activities.
CBeebies Land opened at Alton Towers Resort on 24th May 2014, replacing Storybook Land and Old MacDonalds Farmyard. Based on the BBC CBeebies television channel, the area features rides, attractions and live entertainment inspired by favourite programmes including In the Night Garden, Octonauts, Peter Rabbit, Go Jetters, JoJo and Gran Gran and Hey Duggee.
For the 2026 season, CBeebies Land continues to expand with Bluey The Ride: Here Come the Grannies, joining the Bluey live show and Bluey meet and greet as part of the growing Bluey experience at Alton Towers. Together with attractions such as Octonauts Rollercoaster Adventure, In the Night Garden Magical Boat Ride and Hey Duggees Big Adventure Badge, CBeebies Land offers a full day of rides, play areas and entertainment for families visiting Alton Towers Resort.

Dragon Empire at Gardaland Resort is a themed area relaunched for 2025, transforming the former Kung Fu Panda themed land into a new environment inspired by Eastern traditions, festivals and celebrations.
The area is designed around bright colours, red lanterns, decorative fans and immersive theming, creating a setting that reflects cultural influences combined with a festival atmosphere. Dragon Empire focuses on visual detail, music and themed design, with pathways leading through a vibrant environment where traditional elements and modern ride experiences are combined.
The attractions within Dragon Empire include:
Dragon Rush, a spinning roller coaster that features rotating cars and rapid directional changes, creating a dynamic ride experience within the themed area.
Rocket Factory is an indoor attraction where guests are taken through a themed environment inspired by fireworks and night sky displays, combining visual effects with ride elements to create an immersive indoor experience.
Both attractions were updated as part of the 2025 transformation, with new theming and names replacing the previous Kung Fu Panda branding following the end of the DreamWorks licence. The retheme focused on removing franchise elements while maintaining the existing ride systems and enhancing the visual identity of the area.
Dragon Empire forms part of the attraction lineup at Gardaland Resort, adding a themed land that blends cultural inspiration with family attractions. The redesign for 2025 reflects Gardaland’s continued investment in updating themed areas and introducing new experiences across the park.
The Dragon Empire area sits alongside other themed zones such as Fantasy Kingdom and Rio Bravo, contributing to the variety of environments found within Gardaland Park.
Gardaland Resort is one of Europe’s most visited theme park resorts, located near Lake Garda in northern Italy. Gardaland Park includes roller coasters such as Raptor, Oblivion The Black Hole, Blue Tornado, Shaman and Mammut, alongside water rides such as Fuga da Atlantide and Jungle Rapids, and dark rides including Jumanji The Adventure and Animal Treasure Island.
The wider Gardaland Resort also includes LEGOLAND Water Park Gardaland and Gardaland SEA LIFE Aquarium, along with themed accommodation at Gardaland Hotel, Gardaland Adventure Hotel and Gardaland Magic Hotel, creating a multi attraction resort experience in Italy.

Located at the exit of Hyperia in Fearless Valley, Hyporium is the dedicated retail store for Thorpe Park’s tallest and fastest roller coaster. The shop offers a focused range of Hyperia merchandise including t-shirts, hoodies, mugs, magnets, pin badges and themed souvenirs, alongside drinks and essentials. Positioned directly at the ride exit, it serves as the main retail point for Hyperia and Fearless Valley. Annual Pass holders can receive discounts at the till.
Hyperia opened at Thorpe Park on 24 May 2024 and is a steel roller coaster standing at 236 feet, reaching speeds of 81 mph. It holds the title of the UK’s tallest and fastest roller coaster and features multiple inversions, including a 168-foot vertical loop, along with extended airtime moments across its 995 metre layout. The ride is themed around the story of Hyperia, representing strength and overcoming fear, and has become the central attraction within Fearless Valley.
The development of Hyperia saw the removal of several former attractions including Logger’s Leap, The Rocky Express, Lumber Jump and Timber Tug Boat, marking a major transformation of the area into a modern high-thrill zone. Fearless Valley now includes updated facilities, food outlets and the Hyporium store, forming a key part of the park’s layout.

The Pirate Lodge is one of the larger accommodation options available at Adventurers Village Resort at Gullivers Land in Milton Keynes. Designed to accommodate up to six guests, the lodge can sleep 2 adults and 4 children and offers a spacious and comfortable themed environment overlooking the lake within the resort.
Inside the Pirate Lodge guests will find two bedrooms, including a double bedroom and a second bedroom with bunk beds. The main living area includes a double sofa bed, allowing the lodge to sleep up to six people in total. The open living space also features a kitchenette area with fridge, sink, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, providing everything needed for a comfortable short break.
The lodge also includes a private bathroom with toilet and shower, heating for year round stays, and a themed interior inspired by pirate adventures.
Adventurers Village Resort forms part of the wider Gullivers Land Resort, allowing guests to stay on site with easy access to the theme park and additional attractions including the Dinosaur and Farm Park.
Adventurers Village offers a wide range of themed accommodation options including Dino Dens, Deluxe Dino Dens, Beach Dens, JCB Construction Cabins, Wild West Cabins, Lost World Cabins, Unicorn Cabins, Woodland Lodges, Jungle Safari Lodges, and the Princess Suite .
Gullivers Land opened in 1999 in Milton Keynes and was the third park developed by Gullivers Theme Park Resorts, a company founded by Ray Phillips in 1978. The park features themed areas including Western World, Lilliput Land, Safari Kingdom, and the JCB Zone, which opened in 2017 in partnership with JCB.
Gullivers Land is one of four Gullivers parks in the UK. The others include Gullivers World in Warrington, Gullivers Kingdom in Matlock Bath, and Gullivers Valley in South Yorkshire, which opened in 2020 and features themed lands such as Toyland, Smugglers Wharf, and Gully Town.
Gullivers Land is located in Milton Keynes, around 20 minutes from the proposed Universal Studios UK Resort site, placing the resort close to what is expected to become one of the UKs largest future entertainment destinations.

[4K] Raven at Valgard: Realm of the Vikings, join us for a full on ride experience on this legendary reborn coaster at Paultons Park as we race through Viking landscapes, airtime hills and wild mouse style turns on one of Valgard’s most exciting family thrill attractions.
Raven is one of the major attractions within Valgard: Realm of the Vikings and gives new life to one of Paultons Park’s classic roller coasters. Formerly known as Cobra, this Gerstlauer Bobsled Coaster originally opened at Paultons Park on 18th March 2006 before receiving a full Viking themed transformation as part of the major Valgard expansion in 2026.
Now operating as Raven, the ride has been extensively rethemed to fit the Norse mythology inspired world of Valgard. Riders take flight as Viking scouts, soaring through rugged terrain, tight wild mouse style turns and camelback hills that deliver exciting airtime and speed.
Manufactured by Gerstlauer and designed by Ing.-Büro Stengel, Raven reaches heights of approximately 54 feet, speeds of over 31mph and features more than 1,400 feet of steel track. Single car trains seat four riders and race through compact but forceful elements that provide a highly energetic coaster experience.
As Cobra, the ride served as a major thrill attraction for nearly two decades and was a key part of Paultons Park’s lineup before being transformed into Raven. The retheme preserved the popular coaster layout while completely refreshing its identity, station, queue line and surrounding environment to integrate seamlessly into Valgard: Realm of the Vikings.
Valgard: Realm of the Vikings is one of the largest and most ambitious developments in Paultons Park history. Alongside Raven, the land includes Drakon, the park’s first ever inverting roller coaster and the headline thrill attraction of the area. Valgard also introduces Vild Swing, the UK’s first ART Engineering Wild Swing flat ride, offering gravity defying family thrills. Younger guests can explore The Orchard Playground, a large Viking themed adventure space, while families can dine inside the impressive Nordic Feasting Hall.
Valgard transformed former attractions including Dragon Roundabout and Magma while significantly redeveloping open land to create a major new Viking themed destination.
Paultons Park, located in Hampshire’s New Forest, has become one of the UK’s leading family theme parks. The park is home to more than 70 rides and attractions including Peppa Pig World, the world’s first Peppa Pig themed land, Lost Kingdom, featuring Velociraptor, Flight of the Pterosaur, Dino Chase and Splash Lagoon, Tornado Springs, home to Storm Chaser, Cyclonator, Buffalo Falls and Al’s Auto Academy, and Ghostly Manor, the interactive dark ride that opened in 2025.

Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy is a Thomas Land ride at Drayton Manor Resort, located near Sodor Airport, James and the Red Balloon and Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash. This Zamperla Aero Top Jet ride opened with Thomas Land in 2008 and remains one of the original attractions in Europe’s only Thomas Land.
The ride lets guests board one of Jeremy’s jet planes before taking off on a circular flight above Thomas Land. Each plane can move higher and lower during the ride, giving a flying view across the Sodor themed area and nearby Thomas & Friends rides. Guests under 1.2m must be accompanied by an adult.
Jeremy is the jet plane character from Thomas & Friends, giving Thomas Land an aviation themed ride alongside its trains, boats, helicopters and road vehicles. Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy is positioned around the Sodor Airport setting, making it a strong fit for this part of Thomas Land and adding another form of transport to The Island of Sodor.
Thomas Land at Drayton Manor officially opened on 15 March 2008 on the former site of Robinsons Land. The area expanded on 8 April 2015 with more Thomas & Friends rides and Sodor themed locations. Today, Thomas Land includes over 25 rides and attractions, including Thomas, Rosie & Percy Engine Tours, Troublesome Trucks Runaway Coaster, Cranky’s Drop Tower, Harold’s Helicopter Tours, Blue Mountain Engines, Winston’s Whistle Stop Tour, Thomas & Percy’s Submarine Splash, Toby’s Tram Express, Captain’s Sea Adventure and Jeremy Jet’s Flying Academy.
Thomas & Friends is based on The Railway Series books created by Reverend Wilbert Awdry, with the first book published in 1945. The television series first aired in 1984 and helped make Thomas the Tank Engine, Percy, James, Gordon, Toby, Jeremy and The Island of Sodor known around the world.
Drayton Manor Resort is located near Tamworth in Staffordshire and includes Drayton Manor Theme Park, Thomas Land, Drayton Manor Zoo and the Drayton Manor Hotel. Ratatouille: The Adventure, officially known in French as Ratatouille: LAventure Totalement Toquée de Rémy, is a trackless dark ride located in Worlds of Pixar at Disney Adventure World. Opening on 10 July 2014, the attraction combines large-scale sets, 3D projection technology and trackless ride vehicles to place guests in the middle of Remys adventure through the kitchens and dining rooms of Gusteaus famous Paris restaurant.
Guests shrink to the size of a rat before joining Remy on a fast-paced escape from the restaurants head chef, Skinner. The adventure features oversized kitchen scenes, giant food, special effects and immersive environments as riders duck beneath ovens, race across worktops and avoid being discovered. The attraction uses trackless technology, allowing each vehicle to move freely through the scenes to create a unique and dynamic experience. A Single Rider service is also available.
The attraction is inspired by Disney and Pixars Ratatouille, released in 2007. The Academy Award-winning film follows Remy, a talented young rat with a passion for French cuisine, who forms an unlikely friendship with Linguini while pursuing his dream of becoming a chef in Paris. The surrounding area recreates a stylised Parisian square and is also home to Bistrot Chez Rémy and Chez Marianne, extending the story beyond the attraction itself.
Worlds of Pixar celebrates some of Pixar Animation Studios best-loved films through immersive attractions and themed environments. Alongside Ratatouille, the area includes Crushs Coaster, Cars Road Trip and Toy Story Playland, bringing together characters and stories from Ratatouille, Finding Nemo, Cars and Toy Story.
Disney Adventure World is the reimagined second park at Disneyland Paris, formerly known as Walt Disney Studios Park. Alongside Worlds of Pixar, the park now features Avengers Campus and World of Frozen, which opened on 29 March 2026 with the Kingdom of Arendelle and Frozen Ever After. Future expansion includes The Lion King-inspired Pride Lands, known in French as La Terre des Lions, continuing the parks transformation into a collection of immersive themed worlds.
Disneyland Paris opened in 1992 and is located in Chessy, approximately 32 km east of Paris. The resort includes Disneyland Park, Disney Adventure World, Disney Village and several Disney Hotels, combining Disney, Pixar and Marvel experiences across one of Europes most popular tourist destinations.
