Day 11
I found the next maiden being guarded by some kind of large jellyfish. It had one eye and a lot of stuff around it. The hookshot definitely came in handy cleaning and finishing it off.
This girl's name was Ru. She looked a little younger than me. This whole ordeal must have been very scary for her. Ru told me that Ganon was originally a thief named Ganondorf, who discovered the Golden Land after its location had been lost to time. She also told me that the wishes of whoever holds the Triforce will continue until that person dies. So I'll have to kill Ganon in order to gain the Triforce.
Ru warned me that Ganon is really strong. I will need to better the Master Sword and find another sacred weapon that can end him. I asked her what that sacred weapon was, but she didn't know. I put Ru's crystal with Ariel's. There are still five other girls trapped in the Dark World.
According to Ariel's directions, the next maiden was hidden inside Skull Woods to the northwest. I journeyed there. These woods are very different from the Lost Woods in the Light World. It didn't help that once I entered some underground ruins, there were giant hands trying to grab me!
I can't seem to find my way around here. I hope I can find a map or at least some indication as to where the maiden might be. It would help a lot if I could burn a lot of the dead foliage.
