So, today we are out and about walking in the English countryside during some very wet n windy weather conditions. At one point, my umbrella came close to getting wrecked during a sudden gust of wind as seen in the video.
We start this walk from inside a vibrantly green and saturated woodland then after just under 17 minutes we pass through a kissing gate to greet a green pasture which then leads onto wide open countryside. We bring the walk to a close from just outside the woodland and on the pasture by the kissing gate.
Currently here in the UK, we have had a bout of wet weather recently and it may be fair to say that even the temperatures might be slightly down on where they should be for this time of year, however the recent rainfall is much needed as by the end of this Spring just gone, many of the reservoirs (probably more so in the southern half of the UK) were no where at the levels where they should be for that time of year, this was due to the long hot & dry summer last year and also to a fairly dry winter. At this point, I would like to call to mind and mention friends of the channel in the U.S.A and other countries including some in Europe who are currently experiencing incredibly hot and unprecedented temperatures, whereby it is so hot that it makes it difficult to even go out for a walk! So with that in mind, I hope this new walk brings some relief, albeit visually and I hope that the temperatures calm down soon for you guys! Also a special mention to Cheryl B who found the channel some weeks ago and like so many of you (new & some since the early days of OAAW ;)) are generously supporting the channel. Your support spurs me on and motivates me to keep on walking and create more and more content! thank you so much for that!
