Day 7 and we are crossing to the Holy Island of Lindisfarne. It's the end of our 100km walk along ancient pilgrim's route from Melrose in Scotland to Lindisfarne the Holy Island, England. It's an important centre of Celtic Christianity. Come with us on our journey.
Our thanks to:
Caroline Nunneley for the photographs of pilgrim’s badges she found on the Thames foreshore while mudlarking.
Gary Blankhead for the photograph of the pilgrim’s badge he found in the River Wear.
Domstu for the photograph of Durham Cathedral.
