Walking In has all the ingredients for a memorable liminal horror experience, even if it’s still pretty rough around the edges. Exploring its empty hallways, surreal environments, and unsettling spaces created plenty of eerie moments, but the game also shows its indie roots with some rough presentation and gameplay.
Despite its flaws, I couldn’t help but see the potential. If the developer continues building on the atmosphere and polishes the experience, this could become something really special for fans of liminal space horror.
If you enjoy Backrooms-inspired exploration, unsettling environments, and atmospheric indie horror, join me as we step into Walking In and see what secrets these abandoned spaces are hiding.
