Too often, we measure the economy in averages and models, while missing how it’s actually lived. Drawing on childhood trips to Costco and years of investing, this talk explores the widening gap between strong economic “fundamentals” and fragile consumer trust, and why consistency, transparency, and empathy matter most when margins are thin.
