The Gallop Extension is an eight-hectare addition to the Singapore Botanic Gardens, bringing the total area of the Gardens to 82 hectares. It comprises two conserved buildings that have been refurbished into the Botanical Art Gallery and 0:35 Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum, the COMO Adventure Grove, and additional trails, scenic lawn and landscaped areas and naturalised habitats. Points of interest at the Gallop Extension are Botanical Art Gallery (Gallop House No. 7 – Inverturret), 4:48 COMO Adventure Grove, Forest Discovery Centre @ OCBC Arboretum (Gallop House No. 5 – Atbara), Gallop Valley, Mingxin Foundation Rambler’s Ridge & OCBC Arboretum.
How to Get There
Alight at Botanic Gardens MRT and take a stroll towards Foliage Garden. From there, head towards the Nassim Gate Visitor Centre then walk towards the National Orchids Garden and head to the back going to the Tyersall Gate. Alternatively, you can walk along Cluny Road and Tyersall Ave.
If you are riding the bus, alight at Holland Rd, Bus Stop (B13021) Aft Ministry of Foreign Affairs or Bus Stop ((B13029)Before Tyresall Ave, and walk along Tyersall Avenue.
