a few years ago, i heard a cover of "walk on the wild side" by jordan mackampa and it really stuck with me... he brought a softness to the song that i hadn't heard before, allowing me to fully appreciate lou reed's unique storytelling. recently, i felt inspired to make my own interpretation of the song. it's a bit different than the version you probably know by lou reed – i hope you enjoy it :)
