Heheh, no, I won't stoop that low... yet...
Rewatching this series has been a rather odd experience. I feel like I'm watching a completely different show. Granted, no I'm not, what's changed is me. There's so many aspects/characters I never took interest in before that nao I'm obsessed with. Akunadin's one of them. I literally went from being neutral to OMG PRECIOUS BABY in about two seconds and I don't know how.
But I'd honestly argue he's one of the best characters in the show.
Because
He has a developed backstory, we see his family/home life, we get a clear sense of his personality so when he goes thru his character arc later, it makes sense. He's consumed by greed and darkness, but he loves his son, and his brother. And I just personally find it interesting how he more or less accepts the fact that he's... "meant" to do good things thru bad ways... "If my brother's the light, then I must be the dark"
Damn, such a cool character...
I have massive feels for the man right nao, and he has a handful of screen time, unlike certain mothers' I'm obsessed with, so you'll definitely be seeing more of him from me
And this is becoming my favorite song of the year
