It has been 160 years since the crown overcame the fortified village in Rangiriri. This episode we will be speaking to descendants of this war as they strive to revive their history, their songs and to strengthen their own paepae by creating pathways for the next generation to understand that by remembering their past, they can use that knowledge to better achieve their dreams for their people as they look to tomorrow and the days to come.
